      Drive more referrals with the new Shopify Post-Checkout Widget

      Shopify merchants can now promote their referral program right after checkout — one of the most effective moments to drive engagement.

      We have redesigned our Post-Checkout Widget to be compatible with Shopify, so you can now surface your referral program on the order confirmation page. And there’s no custom work required — all you need to do is turn it on.

      Shoppers will see a tailored call to action to start referring, and can immediately copy their share link or use one-click buttons for email, Facebook, and more. You can customize the widget’s copy, imagery, and behavior using the Advocate widget editor.

      Automatically sync your discount codes to Shopify. 

      Running a referral program on Shopify? Until now, you had to create every discount code twice — once in Advocate, and again in Shopify — just to make sure customers could redeem their rewards at checkout.

      Not anymore! With our new Shopify code sync, discount codes you upload to or generate in impact.com will automatically sync for you in Shopify. That means no more copy-pasting, no more mismatches, and no more missed rewards. Just accurate, trackable codes — wherever your customers need them.

      This update uses our Storefronts API and works in the background as you upload Once enabled, syncing happens automatically.

      Partner Discovery now has even better tools for finding your next great affiliates and creators

      If you’re running both your customer referral program and your affiliate program on impact.com, you’re probably already using Partner Discovery (and if you’re not, you really should). It’s a great way to see all your MVP referral program participants in one place and easily invite them to “level up” and join your affiliate program.

      With this release, we’re adding several new metrics to help you see exactly how much business each of your participants has been sending your way.

      • Participant Revenue is the sum of all purchases made by a participant.

      • Referred Revenue is the sum of all purchases made directly from a participant’s referral.

      • Influenced Revenue is the sum of all purchases made by an Advocate's referred friends.

      Put ‘em together and what do you get? A complete picture of not only how many purchases a given participant has made themselves, but also how much revenue they have generated directly through their referrals and indirectly through future purchases by those referred customers.

      In a nutshell, it’s the holistic value generated by each participant. And as always, inviting them to your affiliate program is as easy as clicking “Invite to impact.com”.
