Be one of the first to experience improved tracking performance with ClickSync — join the beta

We’ve been working for a while on a tracking improvement called ClickSync. Essentially, ClickSync aims to restore attribution that can be lost between publisher clicks and user actions on brand websites. This attribution loss is caused by privacy-first browsers, ad blockers, latency, and other tracking disruptions.

While not every program is eligible for ClickSync, those that are should see a noticeable increase in attributed conversions. We will be rolling this out platform-wide in a future release — in the meantime, we are looking for users who would like to get a head start on this improved performance.

There is no integration required. If you would like to join the ClickSync beta and begin recapturing conversions that would have otherwise have been missed, please fill out this short survey. If your program is a good fit, we'll get it turned on for you ahead of the pack. Happy tracking!

Improve control and security for your API Access Tokens (beta)

Access tokens aren’t a new concept within impact.com. You currently have two tokens when API Access is enabled for your account (full read/write or read-only permissions) to all APIs. API scopes improve access tokens by enabling you to create new tokens and set granular permissions, making them more secure and easier to manage. Get started with API Access Tokens to enjoy:

      • Improved security

        • With the ability to add tokens with scopes, you can grant permission to only the specific APIs that are needed.

        • You can act fast when suspicious activity occurs without breaking other API integrations

      • Better control over access tokens

        • Manage tokens and scopes without impacting other tokens

        • Easily revoke tokens when they're no longer required, ensuring the security of your account data

      • Better insight into access token usage

        • Using scoped tokens allows you to gain insights into which tokens contribute most to your API traffic and will better assist in understanding why rate limits are being hit

If you’d like to start using API Access Tokens, please reach out to our support team to join the beta.

Streamline your prospect processing process procedurally with groups

Sorry, I’m not actually sure if that’s the correct use of the word “procedurally,” but it felt right so I went with it. Anyway, the big news here is that you can:

      1. Assign prospects to a group (and their group membership will persist if they join your program and get promoted from prospect to partner), and

      2. You can now use Application Workflows to process your inbound partner applications based on their assigned group.

This is helpful from an organizational and time-saving perspective, but it’s also a great way to maintain control over who gets auto-accepted to your program. For instance, if you want to send an invitation link out to a particularly promising prospect, you can assign them to a group — let’s call it “Pre-Approved Partners.”

Then, if that prospect forwards their link to someone else and that new person tries to join, they will not be automatically accepted (even though they have an invite link) since they’re not in that Pre-Approved Partners group.

      Media kit PDF preview

We’ve made a small but helpful visual update to the media kit section. Instead of showing media kits as plain links, you’ll now see a thumbnail preview that gives you a quick glimpse of the file before clicking. This makes it easier to identify the right media kit at a glance and clicking the preview will download the file.

Automate your violation management for Web Monitoring

Managing partner violations from flagged reviews just got a whole lot easier. With our new automated violation handling for Web Monitoring users, you can eliminate manual work, improve compliance response times, and focus on higher-impact tasks.

      • Automatic violation record creation: When a review contains specific issues, a violation record is created instantly — no manual logging needed.

      • Auto-close resolved violations after 7 days: If all issues in a violation are resolved within 7 days, the system will automatically close it — no manual follow-up required.

      • Partner reminder emails: Automatically remind partners to take action:

        • 24 hours before the due date

        • 8 hours before the due date (if the issue is still unresolved)

      • Auto-archive old results: Automatically archive all results older than 30 days to keep your dashboard clean and focused.

These new automations save time, reduce repetitive tasks, and ensure faster issue resolution, giving your team more time to focus on strategic work.

New Placement Fee type: Partnership Initiation Fee

The Partner Initiation Fee is a new placement fee type that you can add to contracts. It is a one-time fee that the partner receives upon first joining your program. Any future updates to the contract will not trigger additional Partnership Initiation Fee payments to the partner.

New guardrails to ensure SOI Funder success

All impact.com brand accounts are assigned a specific funder type upon sign-up. These funder types protect both brands and partners with document, contract, and instant payment restrictions to ensure that financial obligations are made on time.

If you’re marked as an SOI Funder Type , you will now have SOI funder type rules applied to your Template Term Rules. This helps ensure that your template terms are aligned with your funding strategy so you can stay on track and avoid potential finance headaches.
