A cleaner, faster way to navigate impact.com — coming soon

We’re rolling out a refreshed impact.com experience — with cleaner visuals, simplified navigation, and a more streamlined dashboard designed to help you get where you need to go, faster.

This update will be released in waves over the coming weeks, with all users upgraded by early April 2026.

      What’s changing — at a glance:

      • Streamlined dashboard: A new Program Health widget brings key metrics and goals into one place, with flexible date ranges and comparisons

      • Light & dark modes: If you’re one of the many people who has requested dark mode over the years, get ready — it’s here.

      • Visual refresh across the platform: Updated layouts, clearer tooltips, and more consistent page designs

      • Improved performance: We’ve rebuilt each page from the ground up with new technology, to shrink load times and reduce errors.

If the thought of learning a new UI gives you anxiety, don’t worry! Most workflows remain the same — just easier to find and use. A small number of pages are still being updated and may look slightly different for now. We’ll send a more detailed walkthrough once the rollout is complete. Stay tuned!

      The latest in ask impact

Over the last few weeks, we have introduced several improvements to ask impact to make it an even more effective learning and support tool directly in the impact.com platform.

Deeper industry expertise with PXA courses

ask impact now integrates PXA course material, giving you access to deeper industry knowledge directly within the interface. When relevant, responses will also include links to specific PXA courses, helping you expand your understanding and continue learning beyond the initial answer.

      A fully localized language experience

We have also enhanced our multi-language capabilities across the entire ask impact experience. Users can now enjoy a fully localized journey in their preferred language, from the welcome message through to the responses themselves, making ask impact more accessible and easier to use for our global community.

      Built-in help documentation

ask impact can now surface relevant Help documentation directly within the responses, helping you quickly find the information you need without leaving the conversation. This makes it easier to resolve questions instantly and explore helpful resources before escalating to a live support agent.

These updates solidify our vision of ask impact: your strategic partner within the platform, helping you find answers faster, deepen your expertise, uncover insights, and make faster, data-backed decisions.

Assign credit to a single winner across programs with Shared Events

As a reminder, Shared Events streamlines your partnership tracking by using a single event tracker across all your programs.

      This delivers two key benefits:

      • Cleaner, more accurate reporting, because you'll no longer see your second program incorrectly listed as a "channel" in your main program's reports.

      • A faster site experience for your customers, by removing performance delays caused by unnecessary redirects.

With this release, we’ve added a key update. Previously, Shared Events would assign credit to a winner in each program it was used in. Now, you have the flexibility to credit just one winning partner across multiple programs, giving you more precise control over how you reward your partners. Reach out to your CSM or to our support team through the platform to learn more.

Create richer reports and take action faster with Data Lab updates

With this release, you have even more control over your data with new and enhanced Data Lab capabilities.

      • Partner and Partner Id Slide-out [New]: The Partner and Partner Id columns now feature a slide-out panel that lets you take immediate action. Send a message or make contract changes—all without leaving the reporting screen.

      • Card Visualization [New]: This new visualization renders query results as a horizontally scrollable set of cards, enabling you to create visually rich reports. Each card represents a single row of data and supports one optional image dimension, vertically stacked dimension values, and clearly labeled measures. Take a peek at what it looks like in the screenshot below!

      • Text Visualization [Enhancement]: The text widget now gives you more control over text formatting and the ability to upload images.

      Launch surveys with confidence

Surveys are now easier to create, validate, and share. With the updates, you can preview your survey before sending to make sure everything looks good.

We’ve also improved custom field types with clearer naming, including:

      • Multi-Select (formerly Checkbox)

      • Dropdown List (formerly Dropdown)

      • Single-Select (formerly Multiple Choice)

You can now also use shareable survey links to distribute surveys anywhere, giving you more flexibility to collect feedback from your partners.

Rest even easier with IP and Domain reputation reporting in Event Risk

Event Risk helps you protect your metrics and budget from invalid non-human events by monitoring clicks and conversions for suspicious activity, such as traffic that originates from data centers or conversions that are likely to have been spoofed.

With this release, we’ve begun monitoring two new signals for potential sketchiness: IP reputation and Domain reputation. If a click or conversion has originated from an IP address or a domain that has been flagged as risky, we will now surface that in the Risk by Partner and Action Risk Listing reports. In your left nav, you’ll also now find a link to the Fraud Alerts screen.

If you want to drill down into the specifics, you can check out the new Domain Risk report, which will give you the specific details about why a given domain was flagged for risk. Note: we are not able to provide a similar drilldown report for IP reputation. This is partly due to the fact that IP reputation does not always fall into clear-cut categories, and partly because IP addresses are considered personally identifiable information (PII) and we are a responsible steward of the data that passes through our system thankyouverymuch.

      Enhanced Bulk Ad Upload Support

We’ve expanded the Ad Bulk Upload functionality to support additional deal-related fields, making it easier to manage and configure deal-based campaigns at scale.

These new columns follow the same formatting and validation rules as existing asset columns, ensuring consistency when preparing and uploading your files. The new columns are:

      • DealLandingPage

      • DealMetadata

      • DealAllowedDeepLinking

To support these new fields, we have also updated the related bulk upload tools, such as Copy Columns to Clipboard and File Format Details. The header copy action now includes the new deal columns when copying template headers, and the collapsible file format details section now includes documentation for the new columns, respectively. The CSV download option has also been updated to include these new fields in the download file option.

Heads up: We are sunsetting legacy API tokens

Security standards have evolved. Long-lived, all-access tokens need an upgrade to meet modern security standards, so we’re transitioning to Scoped API Tokens, a more secure and manageable way to control access. Here are some of the key dates and info you need to know:

      • We have extended the deadline to July 1st, 2026: Scoped Tokens will be required for all new integrations or credential resets.

      • Existing integrations using legacy tokens will continue to work without disruption.

Check out this help guide, and start your migration journey to Scoped API Access tokens today.

      Advocate

      Reward advocates with commission

You can now reward advocates with commission on referred purchases. Instead of configuring advanced reward logic, you can simply choose a percentage-based reward when setting up your program. This allows rewards to scale with purchase value, helping you create more flexible, ROI-positive referral programs while keeping setup simple and self-serve.
