Smarter onboarding, cleaner UI and more creator control in Creator Edit (March–June 2025)
We’ve been working hard to make Creator Edit more intuitive, flexible, and impactful. From smarter onboarding to clearer messaging and more storefront control, these updates are designed to help you get more done with less friction.
June Releases
Dashboard announcements now support custom text colors
You can also customize announcement colors more deeply. Text color is now configurable alongside background and border options, all directly from your admin settings.
Smarter contract communication
When an application is declined, a contract expires, or an account is suspended, creators now see clear, custom messages and get helpful emails. It's all about better communication— no confusion, no guessing, just the next steps. While email messaging can be updated in admin settings, custom in-platform messages are not yet self-serve. Please reach out to your impact.com representative to update those.
Improved Storefront experience for Creators
"On Storefront" Collection Badge: Collections now show an "On Storefront" badge that appears on collections that are already on a creator’s storefront. That helps creators differentiate between published and unpublished collections. Creators can confidently manage collections without second-guessing.
Improved text readability: Improved contrast on product overlays makes text easier to read. This is especially useful where images have light/white backgrounds.
Mobile UX that just feels better
Applying to campaigns and logging in is now more user-friendly on mobile.
Campaign application form no longer scrolls horizontally.
Login button has been made larger for easier use on mobile.
Faster splash page setup
Splash page carousel no longer requires a creator handle for content attribution. Brands can now include content without needing creator permission, reducing setup friction.
May Releases
Promo codes, visible and trackable
Promo Code Display for Creators: Creators now see assigned promo codes directly on their dashboard. If no code is assigned, nothing is shown — keeping it clean.
Promo Code Performance Report: Creators now have access to a Promo Code Performance Report that provides a detailed breakdown of promo code usage and its impact.
Note: These features are currently behind a feature toggle – brands must request activation.
Customize text in the tracking link widget and product search bar
Brands can now edit the description copy in the tracking link widget and default text in the product search bar, adding more brand voice to every touchpoint.
Note: To make these changes, please contact your impact.com representative, as this functionality is not yet available in admin settings.
April Releases
Expanded Custom Legal Links for Brands
Brands can now add up to 6 external links on their onboarding pages, up from the previous limit of 2 (excluding contract and payout terms). This added flexibility makes it easier to share important resources such as legal terms, help docs, FAQs, community guidelines, or brand-specific policies.
March Releases
Email Verification Now Optional for Applications
Creators no longer need to verify their email addresses to complete and submit their applications. If they skip email verification, their application will still be shared with the brand. Email verification is now only required when adding payment details. This change removes a major drop-off point in the funnel, reduces confusion, and allows creators to move through onboarding without unnecessary delays.
Customizable Social OAuth Options for Onboarding
Brands can now choose which social accounts (like Instagram or TikTok) are shown and in what order, during onboarding. This creates a cleaner, more relevant experience for creators. All options are still available later in settings, but the first impression is now more focused. For customization, please contact your impact.com representative, as this feature is not yet self-serve.
