Start working immediately with way more brands, grab promo codes in our app, and more
Work instantly with (a lot) more brands
You may have noticed a section of your dashboard labeled “Brands to Work With Instantly.” This is a list of brands for which you’re prequalified — meaning you could begin working with them on the spot. However, that list typically only contained about 25 results, which limited its usefulness.
With this release, we are exponentially increasing the number of brands that will show up in that list. Depending on a few factors such as your location and promotional methods, you may now see several hundred brands that you can begin working with right away.
This update is part of our broader effort to make it as easy as possible for you to find new brands and increase your earnings. Keep an eye out for future updates on that front!
Promo codes are now available in the app
You are using our app, right? It lets you grab links, browse for brands, and more — all while you stand in line, ride the subway, or wait for your surgical assistant to pass the scalpel. Oh, and it was recently rated the #1 app of all time by the IRNWA*!
Anyway, our latest version introduced a “Promo codes for you” section in the dashboard, where you can see suggested promo codes to share, from brands you work with. You can click into that section to see them all and filter by brand to find that one special code you want to share with your audience. You’ll also see available promo codes on the Brand Details page.
Oh, also! We recently improved the app’s dashboard, placing your key metrics and to-do items front-and-center, so you can stay on top of things at a glance.
Install it today for iOS or Android!

Get a quick look at your key metrics with the new Snapshot widget
We have added a new Snapshot widget to the dashboard, which will give you a quick overview of the metrics that matter most. If you are working with brands on both an ongoing affiliate basis and on specific creator campaigns, you will see a toggle at the top which allows you to switch between two different snapshots.
If you’re only working with brands on an affiliate basis (and not on any creator campaigns), you won’t see this new widget at all, and frankly, most of these release notes won’t make any sense to you. But don’t fret! In the very near future, we will be releasing the latest version of our dashboard to all our users, and then you’ll see this slick new snapshot widget and all the other great stuff in the new version.
So long, Summary widget
You know that little box up at the top left of your dashboard? The one that shows your user icon and the number of brands you’re working with? It was kind of just taking up space, so we got rid of it.
The To-Do List widget will now show the latest newsletters from your brands
We've been working to make the To-Do List widget more useful as a central feed for all the stuff you need to know. On that now, we are now surfacing your latest brand newsletters in the To-Do List. Check 'em out to make sure you have the latest promotional info!
Improve control and security for your API Access Tokens (beta)
Access tokens aren’t a new concept within impact.com. You currently have two tokens when API Access is enabled for your account (full read/write or read-only permissions) to all APIs. API scopes improve access tokens by enabling you you create new tokens and set granular permissions, making them more secure and easier to manage.
Improved security
With the ability to add tokens with scopes, you can grant permission to only the specific APIs that are needed.
You can act fast when suspicious activity occurs without breaking other API integrations
Better control over access tokens
Manage tokens and scopes without impacting other tokens
Easily revoke tokens when they're no longer required, ensuring the security of your account data
Better insight into access token usage
Using scoped tokens allows you to gain insights into which tokens contribute most to your API traffic and will better assist in understanding why rate limits are being hit
If you’d like to start using API Access Tokens, please reach out to our support team to join the beta.

We’ve retired the “ITP” Marketplace badge
Several years ago, we added an “ITP” badge to many of the brand profiles in our Marketplace. This was a way to show which brands had tracking setups that would allow us to consistently credit their partners for conversions driven in Safari, where Apple’s Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP) had been causing a stir in the tracking world.
Fast-forward to today, and impact.com verifies that each program’s tracking implementation meets a minimum standard to comply with browser restrictions that limit the use of 3rd party cookies, such as Apple’s ITP. Thanks to these standards, nearly all programs on impact.com have first-party cookie-based tracking or better.
Since 99.8% of brands on impact.com today are ITP compliant, the badge is no longer relevant — so we’ve removed it.

We’ve removed the option to request a Social Media Ad
But we don’t think you’ll miss it, because it didn’t really work. Long story short, if you requested a social media ad from one of your brands and then they never responded to your request, they (probably) were not just ignoring you. The system was not allowing them to complete that action. So we’ve removed it for now to prevent hurt feelings and/or confusion while we work on it.
