What's new at Trackonomics: Valid clicks at a glance, easier widget creation, and more
See non-bot traffic in one step with the Valid Clicks metric
This is a simple change that should make your life a bit easier. Previously, we provided a metric called “is_bot”. So if you wanted to see your non-bot (that is, human) clicks, you had to subtract the “is_bot” value from your Total Clicks.
The Valid Clicks metric does that for you — no additional math needed. Please note: now that we’ve added Valid Clicks, we will be removing the “is_bot” metric.
Goda nyheter! We’ve added Sweden as a region to Product Search in the extension
Looking for offers that are specific to Sweden? We’ve got you covered.
Create and upload Amazon tags more consistently in the extension
Some users were experiencing difficulty creating or uploading Amazon tags in our Chrome extension. We made some improvements that should mitigate any syncing issues going forward.
Upload Amazon Data right from the Dashboard
Speaking of Amazon, we’ve also added a new way to upload your Amazon data into Trackonomics directly from your dashboard. Previously, this was only possible through the extension.
Admin users who have already onboarded Amazon can find this via the new "Amazon Data Upload" item in the left navigation bar.
New error messages make it easier to build widgets
Have you ever tried to build a widget, but it didn’t work and you weren’t sure why? Us too, and it’s no fun. So we have now added some new error messages that will tell you exactly what you need to do to make that new widget you’re dreaming of a reality.
These warnings will adapt to the scenario, taking some of the guesswork out of building reports. For instance, when you begin building a Table widget, you’ll see this message:
Once you add a Dimension, you’ll see that you now need to add a Metric:
Log into the extension without having to select an environment
You know how, when you log into Trackonomics, you need an environment code? That’s because some users have access to more than one Trackonomics account, and that field helps them log into the right one.
But if you’ve just got access to a single environment, there’s no need for that step. You no longer need to enter an environment code to log into the extension. Note: an environment code is still required for login to the Trackonomics web app.
New and updated integrations:
New: AdMedia. AdMedia is a leading ad network driving advertising solutions in Search, Native & Contextual. If you’re working with AdMedia, you can now send that data into Trackonomics.
Updated: Commission Factory. We have added some new logic to manage our requests, making it less likely that we will run into API rate limits from Commission Factory.
