Secure and manage placement opportunities with Performance Campaigns (Beta)

With Performance Campaigns, you can hire partners to create and post content, usually in the form of a placement. At a high level, Performance Campaigns allow you to:

      • Identify a campaign goal, such as a product launch

      • Define a budget for the campaign and a desired number of partners to hire

      • Set compensation rates (flat fees, CPAs, or hybrid)

      • Outline placement and content expectations (timelines, usage rights, content guidelines, etc)

      • Review and approve content submissions

With this release, we are adding the ability to add campaign terms, allowing you to have even more granularity when defining performance-based compensation for your campaigns.

Check out our help documentation for additional information. and if you’re interested in getting early access to our open beta, please contact your CSM or our support team

      New in ask impact (Beta)

We’ve rolled out a fresh set of upgrades to make ask impact even smarter, faster, and more useful:

      • We’ve extended the measures, dimensions, and aliases ask impact can use when generating responses around analytics. These provide deeper insights with more precise results, based on real usage patterns and conversations. You can now ask questions like, “How many partners were active this week?”.

      • Not sure what to ask next? ask impact now suggests relevant, follow-up questions to help queries, helping you uncover insights you may have missed.

      • When asking help queries, you’ll also get source links to impact’s help center, giving you a clearer path to in-depth answers.

      • We offer Multi-language support for items relating to help documentation, customer support escalation, industry expertise, and analytics queries. We’ve conducted extensive testing in French, Spanish, and Italian, but all languages are supported. You can now ask “Quel montant de commission ai-je payé pour le groupe partenaire 11889 cette semaine?” and get a response in the same language.

      • We’ve extended industry expertise with external websites, allowing you to get industry insights from the broader affiliate marketing industry

Admins can activate ask impact without a support ticket, via Settings → impact AI → Checkbox to enable “ask impact” → Save.

      Improved Partner Discovery Filters

Joined partners and prospects are now hidden by default from the Partner Marketplace, with a new filter to ‘Show Relationships’ if you want to see them. You can now hide partners who are already part of your program or are already in your prospecting flow. This update makes it easier to focus on discovering new potential partners, without having to scroll past those you’re already working with.

Preview Partner Collections before you preapprove them

A little while back, we added Partner Collections as an option within Application Workflows. These Partner Collections are curated lists of the top-performing partners in several ecommerce verticals, as well as the top partners across several promotional channels — such as YouTubers or Twitch streamers.

When you add a Partner Collection to your Application Workflow, any of the partners in that collection will see that they are preapproved to join your program. The idea here is that you’re making it as easy as possible for these premo partners to start promoting your brand.

With this release, we’ve added a “Preview” button, which will take you to directly to that collection within our Partner Marketplace. Now you don’t even have to take our word for it — you can see exactly which partners will be fast-tracked into your program if or when they apply.

If you haven’t set up an Application Workflow yet, these collections are a great place to start. Learn more here, or head over to Partners > Automation > Workflows to try it out for yourself.

      Onboard prospects at scale (Beta)

Save time and recruit partners faster with Prospect Import (Beta), a streamlined way to upload and manage large prospect lists directly within impact.com. Prospect Import lets you add prospects via CSV upload and immediately begin recruiting them. This means you can focus on growing your partner network instead of wrestling with spreadsheets or third-party platforms. Once your prospects are imported, you can view them under Discover > Prospects, filter by the source of import or by group, and pair with workflows to automate email invitations, follow-ups, and auto-acceptance into your program.

This streamlined process allows you to recruit at scale, whether you’re adding brand-new prospects keeping relationships active and revenue flowing.

When you upload your CSV, the import tool quickly checks for formatting issues and duplicates. If you see a “successfully submitted” message, it means your file passed this initial check. After processing, you’ll receive an email summary showing which prospects were successfully imported and highlighting any errors, such as missing groups or invalid data. The tool will also match your prospect list to existing impact.com accounts. This way, you always know the status of your import and can take action if needed.

When uploading your CSV, keep in mind that the file size is limited to 10,000 rows of prospects and 20MB per upload.

The feature is currently in Open Beta and available for all editions.

Here are some help docs to learn more about the feature: Prospect Import explained, Prospect Import Guide and Frequently Asked Questions

“I don’t need the marketplace contact. I know a guy.”

If you upload a prospect who is already in our marketplace and you do not include any contact information, we will automatically populate that prospect with the default marketplace contact. If you do include a contact and your contact is not already the default marketplace contact for that partner, then we will create one or more custom contacts, visible only to you.*

The next time you create an Email Workflow, you will be able to choose whether you want to send the emails to the marketplace contact, custom contact, or both.

*Please note that this only applies to their contact details. The person themselves will remain visible to other humans. We are not turning them into a ghost or a figment of your imagination. The technology is simply not there yet, and anyway, that seems like it would be a bad thing to do, even if we could do it.

Prospect didn’t get your email? Now you’ll know why

Email may be the most reliable way to reach most people, but it’s still not foolproof. So when you’re firing off all your automated prospecting messages, some of them are bound to fail for one reason or another.

To make troubleshooting easier, we have added an Issue Log to the Workflows screen. The Issue Log shows which emails were suppressed by our system due to previous failed sends, unsubscribes, or bounces.

Start off on the right foot with premium publishers

With this release, we’re giving select premium publishers the ability to define specific contract requirements. This helps you understand what their non-negotiables are for partnering, so you can reduce the back and forth and ensure your proposals meet their minimum requirements for them to accept.

If you try to propose a contract that doesn’t meet the requirements of a premium partner using this feature, the system will walk you through a flow to create a new contract that meets the requirements. For more information, please review our help documentation

View campaign terms in your contract API response

With this release, we’ve added a campaign terms object to the contracts API response. You can now see the campaign name, start/end dates, payout rate details, and more. For more information, please refer to our help documentation.

      Bulk payout group upload limit

We are now capping the bulk import of payout groups to 4000 payout groups at a time.

We’ll now require Two-Factor Authentication less frequently

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) plays an important role in keeping your account and our platform safe. But we also want to ensure we’re implementing it in a way that’s convenient for our users. So we have removed the 30-day window for 2FA — we won’t require it again until we notice you logging in from a new device, browser, or IP address. Plus, we will now pre-check the “remember this device” button and pre-populate the device name field, so that’ll save you a few keystrokes too.
